Homepage links

Homepage links allows you to set links that appear on the user’s homepage. Links are tied to a specific homepage and can be categorized.

Accessing homepage links

  1. Select the Consolidate module.
  2. Select the Administration category.
  3. Expand System.
  4. Click Homepage Links. The homepage link table appears.

Setting homepage links

In the Homepage Links table, the list of links in the system are displayed.

Adding a link

  1. Click Add to add a new link.

    Note: You can add a new link that has similar settings by selecting an existing row and clicking duplicate.

  2. For each link fill in the following fields:
    1. Link Description: Enter a description for the link. This can be up to 1000 characters in length.

    2. Web URL: Enter the URL that the link points to.

    3. Link Homepage: Select the homepage the link will appear on.

    4. Category: Optionally enter a category for the link. The category is used to group related links on the homepage.

    5. Priority: Use priority to set the order the links are displayed on the homepage.

Links will not be displayed on the homepage until you click Submit.

Deleting a link

Delete a link by selecting the row and clicking delete. The link is not deleted until you click Submit.

Editing a link

You can change a link by editing any of its fields. No changes are applied until you click Submit.

Refreshing the links

Click Refresh to refresh the list of links. This will discard any unsaved changes and restore the table to the set of previously saved links.
