Maintaining Details

Longview Tax uses the Details dimension in different ways depending on the products you have purchased. For Tax Provision, the Details dimension may contain symbols that are specific to your company. For Task Management, the Details dimension contains the jurisdictions.

Maintaining Tax Provision details

Tax Provision includes the Details dimension, which can be customized to include additional symbols to suit your company’s needs.

Depending on your system’s configuration, the Details dimension may have system-specific hierarchies. To add symbols to these hierarchies, see the “Creating New Symbols” section in the Longview Application Administrator Guide. If your system does not use system-specific hierarchies for Details, the system default symbol is SUMMDET.
