Exporting Allocations

Export Allocations allows you to export all allocations in your system.

Note: The Export Allocations app is an example app, which means the app could have been modified. This chapter assumes there are no changes to the Export Allocations app, however the content of the Export Allocations app can vary according to your implementation.

Accessing export allocations

1. From the Tax, Close, Plan or Longview Transfer Pricing module, select the Administration category.
2. Expand Import and Export.
3. Click Export Allocations.

Note: As Export Allocations is an example app, the location of the Export Allocations app can vary according to your implementation.

Exporting allocations

Once the Export Allocations app is run, the allocations are downloaded to the \Documents\Longview\<LID>\logs\Export Allocations\YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS folder.

Note:

• The file name and file location of the exported allocations can vary according to your implementation.
• Unless the export app has been modified, all fields from within the manage allocations table will be exported except the attachments field.

A confirmation message will appear. Click the View File button to view the exported allocations.

Note: The export file can be used as a template when creating a import file for the import allocations app. For more information, see Importing Allocations.
