Transfer Price Adjustments

Transfer price adjustments allows you adjust margins to meet specified targets.  The values retrieved in this app are generated by the Profitability Analysis Variance event as well as the Transfer Price Targets app. 

The total transfer pricing adjustments are then applied to any defined counterparty offsets defined in the Transfer Price Target app by the Counterparty Adjustments event.

Accessing transfer price adjustments

The Transfer Price Adjustments app is provided as an Example app, placement of the app is defined during configuration. 

Please contact your system administrator for the location of the app.

Transfer Price Adjustments app

1. Right-click the Transfer Price Adjustments app.
2. Make User Selections:

   1. Timeperiod: ASTaxCPer

   2. Entities: N/A

   3. Details: ASLTPProfitabilityD3Target or Details_Total

      Note: While Details is the provided as the default across dimension and provided as a selection the dimension and targets may differ depending on the method your company uses.

3. Click OK.
4. Default Data view orientation:

5. Input any adjustments to meet desired targets.
6. Click Submit to upload adjustments.

Right-click actions:

• Calculate Transfer Pricing Adjustments:
  This action will allow you calculate the adjusted metrics so that your variance meets the specified target.  You can select if you would like to apply this adjustment to Actuals or Forecast and specify which target you would like to meet.  If you have selected a Detail, Segment or Control symbol that is a parent, you are given the option to apply only to items that have an Unacceptable status.

• Show Counterparty Adjustments:
  This action will display the counterparty adjustments related to account on which you click. If you select a parent account, the counterparty adjustments for all leaf symbols under that parent will be displayed.
