Counterparty Adjustments

The counterparty adjustments app will display a table of the adjustments contributing to the individual counterparty entity. The values retrieved in this app are generated by the counterparty adjustments events. The list of adjustments is stored by source entity in a schedule for each offset account associated with the counterparty entity as defined in the transfer price targets app.

The table includes the following columns:

Column Notes

ACCOUNTS

Displays the offset account that received the adjustment.

TIMEPER

Displays the time period the query applies to.

ENTITIES

Displays the entity that the target price adjustments were applied to.

Note: These entities are defined as the “Counterparty” in the “Transfer Price Targets” app.

DETAILS

The symbol in the details dimension that the target is specified for. This column may have a different heading (such as product) depending on the configuration of your system.

CURRENCY

The native currency of the entity that the adjustments are applied to.

SEGMENTS

The symbol in the segments dimension that the target is specified for. This column may have a different heading (such as product) depending on the configuration of your system.

ELEMENTS

The symbol in the elements dimension that the target is defined for. This can be a value of LTPCYA – Actual or LTPCYF – Forecast.

CONTROLS

(Optional) The symbol in the controls dimension that the target is specified for. This column may have a different heading (such as product) depending on the configuration of your system.

Counterparty

Specifies the entity that the target price adjustment is sourced from.

Note: These entities are defined as the “Entity” in the “Transfer Price Targets” app.

Amount

Displays the amount of the adjustments.

Note: The “Transfer Price Target” app defines the relationship between source entities and the counterparty (target) entities.  The counterparty adjustments app displays the values received by that entity from each source entity.

To launch from the navigation pane:

  1. In the Transfer Pricing navigation pane, click Reports
  2. Expand Ranges and Variances.
  3. Click Counterparty Adjustments.
  4. Complete the following fields:
    1. ACCOUNTS: Select the offset account to lookup counterparty adjustments for.

    2. TIMEPER: Select the time period to lookup counterparty adjustments for.

    3. ENTITIES: Select the target entity which received the counterparty adjustments.

    4. DETAILS: (Optional) The symbol in the details dimension that the target is specified for. This column may not appear or have a different heading (such as product) depending on the configuration of your system.

    5. SEGMENTS: (Optional) The symbol in the segments dimension that the target is specified for. This column may not appear or have a different heading (such as product) depending on the configuration of your system.

    6. ELEMENTS: Specifies if the counterparty adjustments are actual or forecast amounts.

    7. CONTROLS: (Optional) The symbol in the controls dimension that the target is specified for. This column may not appear or have a different heading (such as product) depending on the configuration of your system.

  5. Click OK.The counterparty adjustment table will appear.

To launch from a context link:

  1. Right-click on a cell within the app or report with an adjustment amount.
  2. Click Show Counterparty Adjustments.The counterparty adjustment table will appear.
