GetType

Use this function to identify the variable type of a specified variable. The variable type is returned as a string.

Possible return values include the following:

  • NUM
  • STRING
  • RANGE
  • NUMLIST
  • STRINGLIST
  • OBJECT
  • OBJECTLIST

GETTYPE ("VariableName")        

where:

  • VariableName is the name of the variable whose type you would like to identify.

Set Variable sType = GETTYPE("nCount")
